Contest Rules

General Rules

  1. Eligibility: All Little Miss Dixie's promotional giveaways (Campaigns) are open to anyone who follows the entry guidelines for the promotion. All contest entrants must be 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry.  The Campaigns are open to legal residents of the United States and its territories as well as those serving overseas in our military, and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Little Miss Dixie's (“LMD”), advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers are not eligible to participate in the Campaign. The Campaign is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
  2. Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Rules and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of LMD as final and binding as it relates to the content and outcome of its Campaigns.
  3. Campaign Period: Entries will be accepted starting and ending as published for each Campaign. All Start and End times are based on the Central Time Zone.
  4. How to Enter: A Campaign can be entered by strictly following the directions for each Campaign. These may include “like and share” Campaigns on social media, purchases during a special promotion (such as Black Friday), or the Dixie Dots Scratch-offs given to eligible purchases. The entry must fulfill all Campaign requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of LMD.
  5. Prizes: The Winner(s) of a Campaign (the “Winner”) will receive the prize(s) published in the LMD Campaign material. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by LMD. No cash or other prize substitution or exchange shall be permitted except at LMD’s sole discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, and those that result from reporting prize winnings, shall be the sole responsibility of Winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for LMD to use Winner’s full name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.  Unless otherwise specified, each Entrant may win only one prize per Campaign.
  6. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
  7. Winner Selection and Notification: Winner will be selected by a random drawing conducted by LMD on Facebook Live or Instagram Live via ticket pool or online random number generator. Ticket number or Winner's name will be posted on our website and social media platforms. If Winner's claim is not received via social media or email response within 24 hours, there will be an attempt to notify them by email. LMD shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 14 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release if required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner may be selected. Physical prizes will be shipped to Winner free of charge and non-physical prizes (such as coupon codes) will be emailed to Winner within 3 business days following Winner's claim. Receipt by Winner of the prize offered in a Campaign is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY WINNER (AT LMD‘S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE CAMPAIGN, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
  8. Rights Granted by You: By entering a contest (e.g., photo, video, text, etc.), You understand and agree that LMD, anyone acting on behalf of LMD, and LMD’s licensees, successors, and assignees, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Campaign, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes, without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.
  9. Terms & Conditions: LMD reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend a Campaign should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond LMD’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Campaign. In such case, LMD may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by LMD. LMD reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Campaign or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. LMD has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Campaign, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Campaign rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Campaign may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such attempt be made, LMD reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  10. Limitation of Liability: By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless LMD and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in a Campaign and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.
  11. Disputes: LMD CAMPAIGNS WILL BE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES AND TEXAS, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Campaign, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with a Campaign, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Texas having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering the Campaign). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
  12. Privacy Policy: Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the LMD website.
  13. Winners List: The winner(s) of each Campaign will be posted on all platforms, including our website.
  14. Sponsor: The Sponsor of the Campaign(s) is Little Miss Dixie's.
  15. Social Media: The Campaigns hosted by LMD are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram or any other third party.
  16. By entering any LMD contest, You, the Contestant, confirm that you have affirmatively reviewed, accepted, and agreed to all of the Official Rules.

DIXIE DOTS SCRATCH-OFFS

All rules listed below AND listed in the "General Rules" section above are applicable to the Dixie Dots Scratch-offs ("DDS") Program. Any conflicting specifications for the DDS program will follow the terms listed below. The DDS consists of two separate games, Game 1 and Game 2.

How to Enter/Eligibility: All U.S. purchases made from LMD in the amount of $0.01 or greater (excluding shipping and tax) will receive a paper scratch-off in their package with their purchase. Each additional $25 spent will earn an additional scratch-off. Customers are eligible to participate in both Game 1 and Game 2. Orders shipped to foreign countries will not receive a scratch-off and cannot participate in the DDS program due to foreign country rules and limitations.

Game 1

  1. Winner Selection:The paper scratch-off will include four scratch-off dots, each revealing a potential prize. To be a WINNER, the customer must reveal THREE of the same potential prizes, which becomes the same prize awarded to the customer. Potential prizes include, but are not limited to: free shipping, percentage-off coupons, dollar-off coupons, free items, LMD gift cards, and additional scratch-offs.
  2. Claims: To claim the prize won on a winning scratch-off, the winning customer will need to send a photo of the winning scratch-off (and the physical address they want their prize shipped to) to LMD in one of three ways: (1) Facebook messenger, (2) Instagram direct message, or (3) email to jessica@littlemissdixies.com. The winning scratch-off must be claimed within 14 days of package delivery. All claims past 14 days of package delivery will not be accepted. Instructions on how to claim will also be listed on the scratch-off. Coupon codes and gift card prizes will be awarded to winners via message or email within 3 business days of receiving the claim. Coupon codes will be valid for 60 days and gift cards will be valid for 5 years. Physical prizes will be shipped free of charge within 3 business days of receiving the claim with preferred shipping address.
  3. Odds: 1 in 3 scratch-offs will contain a winning prize.

Game 2

  1. Term: There will be a raffle drawing every month - each will have its own entry period. All eligible purchases made between 12:00am CST on the 1stof each month and 11:59pm CST on the last day of that month will be entered into that month's drawing, which will take place on the 15th of the following month.
  2. Winner Selection: The paper scratch-off will include a unique raffle ticket number that will be used as an entry into that month’s raffle. Each month’s raffle will occur on the 15th of the following month (ex: all June entries will be raffled on July 15th). LMD will go live on Facebook or Instagram and draw the winning ticket numbers. These ticket numbers will be posted on Facebook, Instagram, and our website. LMD does not keep track of which customer gets which ticket number. A single customer CAN win more than one prize. Winners do not need to be present during the live to claim. A new winner may or may not be drawn if a ticket number isn't claimed. The number of winners each month may vary. Potential prizes include, but are not limited to: free items and LMD gift cards.
  3. Claims: To claim a winning ticket number, the winner will need to send a photo of the winning ticket (and the physical address they want their prize shipped to) to LMD in one of three ways: (1) Facebook messenger, (2) Instagram direct message, or (3) email to jessica@littlemissdixies.com. All winning ticket numbers must be claimed within 14 days of the drawing. Prizes will be shipped free of charge within 3 business days of receiving the claim AND preferred shipping address. Custom items will ship within their usual turn-around time. Gift cards will be valid for 5 years.
  4. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries.
  5. Missing Scratch-Offs: If you believe you should have received more scratch-off cards than you received, please send us an email at jessica@littlemissdixies.com with your order number. We will check your order to see if we noted how many we included in your package. If we made a mistake, we will honor the missing scratch-off with a 10% off coupon code and raffle ticket number via email. While we don't know which scratch-offs are winners, we do know how many we have given out based on the number of scratch-offs made, and the number of orders received. We will not honor a "missing" scratch-off if all cards have been accounted for.
